Whispers of the Witch Tree is a new action RPG game on Steam inspired by Elden Ring's Nightreign and The Witcher 3's Mandragora.

In the near future there are big new RPG games coming out like Elden Ring Nightreign, Clair Obscure: Expedition 33, and Lost Souls Aside that will make huge demands on their players' free time. However, each of these is still a little out of the question. Now is the perfect time for the release of Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree, a new action RPG that launched on Steam yesterday with great user reviews.

Set in a sinister fantasy world, Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree is a Souls-like game that according to its Steam description, promises over 40 hours of gameplay. It takes place in an eternal land where the player, as one of six classes of Inquisitor, hunts down demons that have infested their world and spread uncontrollably.

Mandragora's 2D perspective is inspired by 3D games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring especially in it is story and action design. Inquisitors can be customized to fight with magical or melee weapons and the wide range of creatures pitted against them will force them to master a rigorous combat system. It is world layout is also similar to From's catalog, with connected environments that hide important items, characters, and secrets. Unlike those games, Mandragora gives players different difficulty options.

The game has been well received. On Steam Mandragora has a Mostly Positive rating from players since its release yesterday.
