Many players using PC Game Pass say a small update for Oblivion Remastered was released a few hours ago. even though there are no official patch notes yet. After the update their graphics settings were reset to default. Some also noticed the option to turn DLSS on or off is now missing. A Gamefusionusa team member confirmed this issue.
A Bethesda community manager said on Reddit that a new update was released for Microsoft platforms. It was only meant to make some small backend changes and not affect gameplay. However they admitted the update accidentally caused problems with the game's UI.
Any graphic settings you changed before the Microsoft Store update are still working they said. You just can’t change them right now because of a problem with the settings screen. The team is looking into it and will share updates soon.
Don’t worry nothing in the game has changed. If you are playing on PC with the Steam version your settings should work fine. However if you are using the Microsoft Store version. you won't be able to adjust your graphics settings until Bethesda releases a fix.
