Delta Force is now competing with games like Battlefield Gray Zone Warfare and EFT by adding a new night operations mode and seasonal updates.
When Delta Force gets really intense just you and maybe one teammate hiding behind a wall while bullets and grenades fly everywhere it feels more like a scary game than a shooter. Now imagine all that happening at night. when enemies could be hiding anywhere. If you liked Battlefield 4’s night missions or the nighttime battles in Gray Zone Warfare the new Delta Force update is perfect for you.
Delta Force came to Steam in January and has been getting regular updates with new weapons characters and a co-op campaign. It's a big slower-paced shooter like Battlefield 3. The game is still growing, but the basics are strong. Reviews are mixed but about 100,000 people play it every day. The new season called Eclipse Vigil might help it get better feedback.
Starting Monday, April 21 a new Delta Force update is available. It adds a new operator named Nox. who is great at sneaking and staying quiet. Nox is not meant for fighting on the front lines but is better for moving behind enemies and weakening them to help your team. The update also brings two new weapons: the K437 assault rifle and a double-barrel shotgun. The shotgun can use dragon’s breath ammo which is a first for Delta Force.
There is a new leaderboard system a new vehicle called the GTQ-35 LT tank and a new underbarrel flamethrower attachment. The biggest new feature is the killcam. This feature common in other shooting games lets you watch replays of how you died. It is now available in Delta Force with the Eclipse Vigil update.
The biggest change is the new night combat mode. Some Warfare and Operations maps can now be played at night. This means you can use night vision scopes silenced weapons and sneakier strategies. Or if you prefer you can still go all out with rockets and grenades like you would during the day.
