Banjo-Kazooie is definitely a series that needs some TLC it is last game being the notoriously controversial Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, which released in 2008. We have heard about some possible projects in the works but nothing confirmed yet. However one studio with strong Xbox connections wants to bring Banjo back.

Toys for Bob is a studio that is almost single-handedly keeping our favorite 90s platforming mascot alive in modern times, having released two hugely successful titles in Spyro: Reignited Trilogy and Crash Bandicoot 4. Toys for Bob is now working on it is next game which many believe could be Spyro 4. In a recent email interview Canadian YouTuber Guy Eh asked them about it. properties it would like to work on now that it is an independent studio.

Toys for Bob studio head Paul Yan says being independent is exciting and full of possibilities. One company we'd love to work with is Team Xbox. They have been a great partner and have a really interesting roster of characters that Toys for Bob could have a lot of fun with. The first one that comes to mind is Honey Bear. I think we can all agree that Banjo has been dormant for quite some time right?

Of course nothing is confirmed with Toys for Bob yet and it is very unlikely they are working on it right now. busy with its current project but it is nice to know that a developer with some serious talent in making platformers would be willing to bring Banjo back. Now we just have to convince Xbox to make it happen.
